A dynamic take on traditional therapy, walk & talk sessions provide the benefits of the outdoors while incorporating exercise and counseling, all in one go. Walking side by side can decrease inhibitions and allow for a more open conversation. The act of walking can enhance a sense of freedom and increases blood flow to the brain - allowing new thoughts and ideas to surface. These sessions are an hour long, and begin at a mutually agreed upon meeting point.
The cancellation and rescheduling policy at HEALing Therapies requires at least 24 hours notice in writing or by phone. Monday appointments must be cancelled by noon on Friday at the latest.
